From the spring to the table, without breaking the calm
Hierro Restaurant at Aguas de Villaharta
Hierro is a tribute to the cooking of Córdoba and to the land it stands on. The restaurant brings back old flavours, old know-how and old recipes, working with wholesome ingredients from nearby producers, rooted in the Sierra Morena.
Designed by chef Máximo Doval del Rey, the menu blends tradition with a modern hand to offer a Córdoban cuisine with memory, feeling and character. Dishes such as chickpeas with pork trotters or tripe, cod mojete, partridge caldillo and other traditional stews bring back aromas and sensations that are part of our history. The wine list nods to Spain's different denominations of origin, with the inescapable presence of Montilla-Moriles, the wine of this land.
Seating 40 guests, Hierro keeps the classic look of an Andalusian farmstead: a simple, cheerful room made for a gastronomic experience in Córdoba taken slowly.

What's on the table
The dishes, their prices and what is available today. It updates itself: what you see is what there is.
Book one of our tasting menus
At Hierro you can enjoy the full à la carte menu, but for those after a different kind of journey we have created two tasting menus: H2O, a route that flows like water, and FE, a more intimate and symbolic path.
Two ways of exploring Hierro's cooking through a story of its own, made for anyone who wants more than a meal: to discover flavours, recover memories and live food as part of the Balneario Aguas de Villaharta experience.
